What generates conversation in your organization, or your team?
User Stories
I’ve heard that user stories are supposed to be “placeholders for conversations”. The workflow a user story goes through is the “flow” of communication. Communication between the customer and product. Then between product and development. Then between development and operations. Finally back to product and the customer.
Open Office
“We have an open office to facilitate communication and collaboration.” Does this not happen naturally? Was the cubicle wall, or the sheetrock wall, really impeding communication before? Sure, this way may facilitate communication, but what else may also be impeding it?
Meetings
If your team’s only form of communication are formal meetings, you’re in trouble.
